A few days ago I told you that my sister's flight got delayed so I made her something..
back on the topic!.. I had watched THIS video some time back and was super-duper inspired by that!

I LOVED the idea of storing memories in a journal!.. So I made her my own version of the Smash Journal.. and I call it a FUNKY JOURNO!..
hehe.. I know.. stupid name! *LOL*

I made a little ribbon loop and added a pen to it with refill covered with matching paper! :D

Also, I had joined an arch entrance prep course for 2 months and had some AWESOME fun there too.. Sooo I got the pics developed and they are now waiting to be added to a cute mini album! :)

Can anyone tell that I LOVE journals?? *wink*

Even my blog is going to serve as my very own journal since it has all my memories, style, and fun captured from the days I WAS a school girl!.. hehe :D

Okay, I think thats enough for the journal talks!..

SCRAPbooking..

Remember my tutorial for Summer Journal in the sumer vacations?..
..Well, I've finally started filling it up.. so i'll be sharing some of it's pages filled with my summer fun!

white gel pen; chocolate brown cardstock; itsy bitsy metallic flower; ribbons- red, chocolate;

This is the first page of my journal with me and my sis.. i tried some doodling with white gel pen which (as you all can see) didn't go very well! ;)

chocolate brown cardstock; maroon cardstock scrap; itsy bitsy patterned specialty paper; white stamped flowers; sequins; gemstones

I used the patterned paper to hide the adhesive for the ribbon!.. i like the idea of the two strips at the top!..

white envelope; stamp-it flowers stamp set; coloured yellow and green paper; red button
I stamped the background on the envelope and used the old crumpled paper technique for the flower..
green cardstock; itsy bitsy-butterfly embellishment pack; itsy bitsy alphanumerals

I saved the movie tickets and some random stuff and arranged it on a sheet which goes in the envelope!..

Maze Books..

So i got inspired from the video above and made a batch of these...

The first set I made says "I LOVE YOU" and "FRIENDS"..

I decorated the pockets as well!

I used A$ sized paper to make them and they were just SOO much fun to decorate!... Instead of the three creases... I made only one on the sheet with longer side vertical... makes a perfect gift... and can be used as a journal, album... or simply a card... anything you want it to be!... I'll be selling them at ebay too...

Summer Fun For Scrapbookers!

So I was getting bored in the summer vacations... the weather too hot to go out... nothing left to do at home...
Then I thought why not make myself a SUMMER JOURNAL which can keep all momentos and soveniers of mine for these summers!...So this is what i came out with:-

Ang guess what?!... this is entirely made of scraps!

So first of all you need to collect the scrap papers, cards, envelopes.. and the list goes on and on... you can even use small tea bags as pockets...

Then take the cover pages of your journo and mark a line leaving 0.5 cm at the edge...

Then start marking points on the line after 1 cm each...
NOTE:- The journal is hand bound!.. Although you can use the bind-it-all..

Put in place the sheets, strips, pockets and envelopes as you want them in your journo and temporarily stick them together sing masking tape.. so it won't bother you while you make holes for the wire..
