Hello guys!

Hope you're having a fabulous October and The Lazy Owl is continuing it's festivities here on our blog with Indelle.

Supplies: Cardstock - Crimson; Die cuts - Lace Heart {Indelle}, Islamic Style Stencil {Indelle};

Embellishments - Pearls, Paper Flowers, Stickers, Twine, Sequins; Tools - chalk paints, MS Butterfly Punch;

Made this oh-so-beautiful gratitude card with lots of love using some chalk paint with this Islamic Style Stencil on red cardstock for the background.

I added some finishing touches to the card using twine and stickers with these intricate heart chipboard shapes, although these are pretty design-sufficient on their own!

{ Hello Weekend CAS Card }

Hi guys!

I have yet another CAS {clean and simple} card to share with you today.

Life has been made super easy and pretty with these Indelle chipboard die cuts :D

Supplies: Cardstock - White; Die cuts - Nature Chipboard Shapes 9 Elements{Indelle};
Embellishments - Pearls; Tools - chalk paints, black ink pad;

All I had to do was prepare the card base with American Decor Chalk Paints, paint the chipboard with black chalk paint and stamp the sentiment!

Can I stress on how much I LOVE this colour green?!

{ Bye Bye Monday Blues - Hello Indelle! }

Hi guys!

A very happy monday to you.

What's so happy about the Monday today? I'll tell you.

I have got some inspiration for you with some AMAZING news!

I have a new DT fam guys. Meet Bozena Zawilinska, Bozena Maxwell and Sonia Sutton. Click on their names to check out their profile and read about Indelle here.

These are a few of the world's most inspiring artists and I am still in awe of their work. Truly honoured to be a part of this :)

Supplies: Cardstock - White, pale blue, vellum; Die cuts - Hot air balloon {indelle}; Embellishments - Dew drops; Tools - chalk paints, white embossing powder, heat gun;

And now, without further adieu. I present to you, using some of the *happy tears worthy* supplies from the Indelle Store, a beautiful and happy card for the start of the week!

I used their hot air balloon die cut with chalk paints {it's oh-so-pretty!} and a piece of vellum at the back to make it stand out. The clouds are cut using a die-cut machine. In LOVE with her collection of die cuts available at the Indelle Store!

galaxy painting

{Go Places! Galaxy Painted Card }

Hi guys!

Another mid-week post for you today!

Supplies: Cardstock - Black; Paint - Blue, Violet, Navy Blue and white; Embellishments - Stickles glitter, RCS MDF;
Stamp - Imaginisce, white embossing powder, heat gun;

I have been watching people trying out galaxy painting and I always wanted to try it out.

Well, I did, and it turned out amazing! This is, hands down, my new favourite technique!

I ended up making like five projects using the technique! I am in LOVE {again!}

I ended up using these amazing Rainbow Craftykari MDF cut-outs {recent launch} and created the snow tips using stickles. Also, I bought this stamp approximately six years ago along with co-ordinated papers but never got to using it *looks down shamefully*

Retro Rubber Challenge #80 {RRCB88} reminded me to give some love to my old craft supplies, so here goes!

{ Back to School and a Blog Hop! }

Hello everyone!

Wishing you all a very Happy Summer and my birthday month - June!

With the new month, we have a fun new challenge on the Rainbow Craftykari Blog!

This month apart from the challenge, we also have a fun blog hop for you all!

Here's a look at the challenge first:

The challenge is all about creating any project on the theme 'Back to School' with the twist of incorporating any school stationery in it!

And with this brief, I introduce you to my project for the month a greeting card to say hello!

I embossed the sentiment in white over "seasoned" chalkboard surface and a added paper clip.

And remember the number of times we used the googly eyes in school?! I was obsessed.

Supplies: Cardstock - Black; Patterned Paper - Dear Lizzy, Crate Paper; Embellishments - Jute twine, googly eyes, paper clip;
Tools - White gel pen, white embossing powder, heat gun;

{ Hello Jaipur Digi Layout }

Hey guys!

Let's dive into our HOT topic today - Digital Scrapbooking!

As some of you know, I am a graphic designer by profession as well so I obviously have an inclination towards all things digital, including scrapbooking. Especially when there are so many beautiful {and sometimes free} kits out there!

Scrapbooking paper - Plain Kraft with grid overlay; Kits - For the Love, That Teen Life and Bohemian Breeze.

My secret weapon, which is not so secret anymore, to find some great free digi kits is Pinterest!

And today, inspired by the city I travelled to and the beautiful Kraft+ Challenge for this month, I have a digital scrapbooking layout for you!

The Kraft+ May Challenge was It's a Date and I definitely wanted to record a date on this one. This layout is dedicated to the Jaipur Literature Festival, an annual literary festival which takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur each January. The decor itself is so inspiring that you can NOT help but scrap it!

I have also linked the kits I used to create this layout. Hope you guys like this one.
