The Lazy Owl Designs: 2013

{ A "MISTY" Layout! }

Helloo!

I am back with another Scrapbooking Layout!

But first!.. I would like to talk about a product that every crafter seems to fall in love with almost instantly {yup!.. I was a victim too!}.. MISTS!

So when I was young {okay, last year! :P}.. I used to mix acrylic paints in water to make my own mists. This was when there were not a lot of companies producing this AWESOME thing!

These Tim Holtz mini misters were with me all along!

And a few days back I bought mini spray bottles {30ml each} and a LOT of paints.. and made my own batch! :D

Sooo pretty! *happy tears*

So now onto the Layout.. I was inspired by the Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge!

Supplies:- White textured CS; Acrylic paints; Blue, Black,Orange coloured paper; Alpha stickers{local}; POP; Silicon Flower Mould; Felt Heart Sticker; Pie Lane Rhinestones; Stickles; Twine; White and Black pens;

I also tried the new Silicon moulds.. used POP {Plaster of Paris} as the medium and sprayed it with my mists.. worked perfectly! :D

I am also entering the layout for the Mema’s Crafts September Challenge and Chromatic Craze Challenge #2!

Okay its around 2:00 AM IST now.. and I have college tomorrow!.. So I guess I should be sleeping soon!

A { BLINGY } Cindrella Story!

Heylo!

Okay I have to admit.. I was a bit too reluctant to make my first “CRAFTY” post after such a long time.. It’s like those times you feel that you are losing your “touch” :)

I made this scrapbook layout a while ago {photo cropped for privacy} using almost all the Pie Lane products!

Supplies:- CS-Textured Super White; Perfect Pearls, Pink Acrylic Paint; Handmade Crochet Flower, Mulberry Rose-Pink, White Paper Rose, Itsy Bisty Paper Flowers; White ribbon, twine, Pearls; Pie Lane glitter, pie lane glitter balls, pie lane silver border sticker;

When it comes to “BLING”.. Nothing beats the Pie Lane products!

And there just CANNOT be enough bling right? *wink*

Some stencils, masking, loaads of misting and myb old {TAPE DRESS TECHNIQUE}

conductive paints

Paper Electronic Crafts?.. why limit ourselves? wink

Hey Crafters! :)

Okay I know I'm blogging after a LOONG time and apparently all my "autopost promises" are pretty much useless!

But today, I would like to introduce whoever's not been introduced to this product befoe.. BARE CONDUCTIVE PAINTS.

How would you like to have a paint tube of an electrically conductive paint along with your crackle paints, stickles and what not?

Okay a bit about this paint.

It's an electrically conductive paint. So, in place of all the wires and solderings, all you can do it PAINT the circuit, i mean literally paint it out and it'll work!

Imagine what all you can do with it, make party invites that actually light up or play the music, make interactive scrapbook pages, make love themed card adding your own special love song.. and the possibilities are ENDLESS!
