{ Scrapping4fun Challenge #117 - Summer! }

Hi guys!
Hope you're having a great summer! It's too hot here in Delhi.

Supplies: Cardstock - Kraft; Patterned Paper - Eno Greetings; Embellishments - Black Pearls, stickers;

But we have a beautiful new challenge at Scrapping4fun today inspired by the season!
This brings us to Scrapping4fun Challenge #117 - Summer.

I worked with this cute digital stamp from Fabrika Fantasy, along with fussy cutting and layering to add a dimension to the card.
I used bright and happy colours {warm tone since that's how I feel right now}

Good Afternoon my blog readers! :D
Since I am here for a week more { Actually, I am also waiting for the Delhi results to be out, who knows.. I might just be here.. fingers crossed! }.. I decided to make full use of my time. So I have been crafting a LOT lately! *YAY*
If I move to Amritsar, I will have to stay without crafting for a month or until I settle down in the hostel.. So why not craft while I am here!
I made this card inspired by the current ICR Challenge.
We have to make a card using small and big creatures { AND we can only use one of each! }.. I LOVE the twists of these challenges!

Supplies:- CS-black, light blue, sky blue; Paper-White, Green; Stamp-MSE; Ink-Chalk White; Embellishments-twine, pearls; Others-Animal die-cut{RAK from Y}, Scallop Circle{Cuttlebug}, yellow paint, stabilo pens;

I had planed the card out a bit differently but that used two of the big creatures { Yeah!.. I HAVE to start reading instructions more carefully! }.. hehe

This card totally screamed out " Friendship " to me!.. I am also entering it for the current CraftyJC ChallengeM.
A part of the challenge was to mail out the card to a friend { I LOVE this part! }.. So I am mailing this card to one of my best friends { I have four best friends! :).. I am blessed! :D }.. She is a non-blogging crafters and has made appearances in THIS and THIS layout! :D

Now I am off to craft a bit more!..

Last Post of 2010! :D

Its 10 pm and we still have well 2 hrs for the NEW YEAR to arrive here in India! :)
So here's my official last post of 2010!.. I know I have been missing from the blog-land and crafty world for a long time.. and here are a few things responsible for my absence:
* My pre-pre-boards in Dec! :(
* A week long trip to Coimbatore, Ooty and Munnar after my exams! :)
* My sis who's here for a few more days! :D
* Prep for pre-boards in January! :'(

But all in all.. I'm FINE!.. *touch wood!*

Enough of my self.. here's another layout.. :)

Maze Books..

So i got inspired from the video above and made a batch of these...

The first set I made says "I LOVE YOU" and "FRIENDS"..

I decorated the pockets as well!

I used A$ sized paper to make them and they were just SOO much fun to decorate!... Instead of the three creases... I made only one on the sheet with longer side vertical... makes a perfect gift... and can be used as a journal, album... or simply a card... anything you want it to be!... I'll be selling them at ebay too...
