--- Night! ---

lead to a BEAUTIFUL invention!.. :D

Not exactly and "invention" actually.. But I did make something awesome! :)
Okay, from the start.. I was soo inspired by Donna Mundinger's challenge at Y's blog that I started experimenting again with my Silhouette sd.. I used to LOVE Lucy's shaped cards and recently it struck me.. DUDE WHY DON'T YOU TRY IT ON SILHOUETTE?!..

Soo.. with loads of experimenting.. errors and corrections.. I was finally able to come up with this:

Supplies: Cardstock - Baby Pink; Paper - Recycled paper-bag; Stamps - Stampin' Up!, YNS, MSE!; Ink - White, Versamark; Clear embossing powder; Embellishments - Pearls, Flower;

The Pie Lane flower embellishment matched perfectly!

I am sooo happy with the result! :D
I created a .GSD file for anyone who wants to make this shape of card :)
{ Download file here }

I am entering the card for the following challenges:

The challenge for this week was to use WARM COLOURS..

I used the colours brown, yellow, orange and mahroon. I used a left-over ribbon to make a sling behind "Thanks" for some added interst!

---Enjoy the week!---

I didn't take the dimensions of the card, but it was vertical half of an A4 sized sheet ofcardstock.
Materials Required:-
1) Lavender Cardstcok
2) Pink and Black coloured paper
3) Lavender Sparkly Handmade Paper
4) Lavender Ribbon
5) 4 Silver eyelets
6) Single Hole Punch
7) Circle sequins
Fold the cardstock into half. Cut a piece of handmade paper and punch 1/4th circle from the circle punch to create a corner. Cut the black sheet of paper a little bigger than the handmade paper and the pink paper bigger than the black paper. Create corners of the papers and stick them on each other. Punch 4 holes on the sheet and set eyelets in them. Paste the sequins around the eyelets and weave ribbon through the holes. Tie the ribbon in a bow.
Write "Thanks!" on pink paper and cut the corners. Stick it on the black paper and cut its corners as well. Stick the sentiment on the created sheet.
Put 3-D foam tape or the dimensionals on the sheet and stick it on the cardstock.
