I guess I took a long break after the last { long } post! ;)
Well, I am back now! :) .. and my inconsistent presence might continue till my college starts, whichever that is going to be. But the good news is, now I have options for colleges!.. YAY! :D
The current Moxie Fab World Challenge was to use borders in a unique way. LOVED their inspiration projects!

Supplies:- CS-White; Paper-Kraft, Navy Blue, Turquoise green, Yellow; Sentiment-Paper{Hobby Ideas}; Embellishments-Butterfly stickers and glitter balls{Pie Lane}; Others-Black pen;

I made a banner using my cutie border punch.. there are so many other styles which can be made into the same!.. :D

The colours for the card were inspired from Get Picky Challenge.

Oh.. and here's a sweet ending to this post.. Sweetest Ujjwal dee sent me this cutie card for my birthday!.. She used painted foam in place of clouds!.. Super duper creative!.. Thanks dee, I am soo lucky! :D

You must have guessed from my tone that I an super-duper extremely excited to get back to crafting!..

I'll start with my first card of 2011.. I know, a LITTLE bit late *wink*.. but here it is:

I made this for a very sweet friend.. and it is yet to be sent out.. :)..

Used a tag from Y and the felt leaf is hand-cut with such yummy felt colour (thanks S)

And now.. great news!.. I want to congratulate my awesome crafty friends U and K.. who have recently started craft supply stores.. :).. I could never have imagined to get such stuff here at very reasonable prices.. thank you soo much! :D
OH!.. and almost forgot.. sweetest dear T took out time to share with us all important embossing knowledge.. thank you! :D
AND!.. thanks to all my crafty friends and a BIG virtual hug for all the good luck wishes! :D

Another card using the fabric tape.. I tried pleating too!.. awesome! :)
The card uses an unmounted My Sentiments Exactly stamp and follows the amazing sketch of Priscilla Syles..

The colour scheme has been taken from this week's Love My Tapes challenge.

This card is going to be in the mail soon to reach a very sweet person! :)

Made a card using one of my MOST FAVOURITE stamps!!.. heart winged butterfly.. love this stamp..

Used silver pen and glue-and-gloss on some elements to add a bit of shine..

Also, I BAKED cupcakes!... love my eggless chocolate cake recipe.. works with everything and tastes soo yummy heavens!..

Here are some of the stuff I "altered"..
I loove this baby card.. but it was just a li'l worn out and untidy.. so i gave it a lift!..
Remember this Thanks card?!.. looong loong back.. but I had no envelope so I made a co-ordinating one for that too..
Just one little question.. when you make these envelopes, so u use a circle punch or a stencil with craft knife?..

I made this card using a text book vintage paper as the basic focus.. I lightly sanded it to make the stamping visible.. but e careful, it tears pretty easily!..

It's been a while since I've used any ribbons on my cards.. so here its is.. back with a bang!

I didn't take the dimensions of the card, but it was vertical half of an A4 sized sheet ofcardstock.
Materials Required:-
1) Lavender Cardstcok
2) Pink and Black coloured paper
3) Lavender Sparkly Handmade Paper
4) Lavender Ribbon
5) 4 Silver eyelets
6) Single Hole Punch
7) Circle sequins
Fold the cardstock into half. Cut a piece of handmade paper and punch 1/4th circle from the circle punch to create a corner. Cut the black sheet of paper a little bigger than the handmade paper and the pink paper bigger than the black paper. Create corners of the papers and stick them on each other. Punch 4 holes on the sheet and set eyelets in them. Paste the sequins around the eyelets and weave ribbon through the holes. Tie the ribbon in a bow.
Write "Thanks!" on pink paper and cut the corners. Stick it on the black paper and cut its corners as well. Stick the sentiment on the created sheet.
Put 3-D foam tape or the dimensionals on the sheet and stick it on the cardstock.
