{ Welcoming Spring Card }

Hi guys!

I'm glad winter season is almost over! *YAY*

Supplies: Paper-White Cardstock, Naxy BlueCardstock; Stamps - Studio G Mini Stamp Set; Tools -Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Embellishments - Zing Embossing Powder, Paper flowers {local}, pearls and twine;

Today I'm sharing a card with you inspired by the Fusion Card Challenge {Spring Wreath}.

I LOVE the colours they used so I decided to paint my white paper flowers the same. Yes guys, I mixed that paint myself. I am THAT good! *LOL*

I made a wreath using twine and I am glad it turned out so well. I also heat embossed this adorable sentiment in white on the card.

Why the photo you may ask? I am a bit into flat-lay photography these days :)

digital scrapbooking

I was experimenting with a couple of digital elements on Photoshop and I really wanted to play along with the Kraft+ Challenge this month, primarily because its Kraft, and I was pleasantly surprised at the number of free scrapbooking kit resources we have available online!

Scrapbooking Kits: Paper - Katie's Wish Set; Embellishments - Digital SB Ingredients Kit, Digi Tee Designs For the Love kit;

Alphabets - Sweet Shoppe Designs Bulky Kraft; Fonts - Brusher, Impact Label;

This scrapbook layout was made with all the free digital scrapbooking kits that I found online {and a couple of existing ones that I already had in my computer} and I do like what I came up with. I will be linking up the kits for your reference under the layout.

For this scrapbooking layout, I took inspiration from the lyrics of the song "Mamma Mia" by ABBA and the colours in my layout were inspired by the collage on their blog and their very talented DT Elisa's layout for this challenge!

And thanks to you guys, this song is *stuck* in my head forever!

Since I love designing graphics, I thought I should make a digital scrapbooking layout for this challenge. The best thing that I like about digital scrapbooking is probably the liberty you have to re-size almost everything, from paper to flowers! *LOL*

This photo was taken in January 2014 in Kolkata, India when I visited the city for my last design module in school {I am an architect}. It is a *beatiful* place and while I am talking about it, I would also like to share a few shots I took while roaming around the streets there!

Oh, how much I love these buildings!

{ A Very Valentine Card! }

Hi guys!

Happy Valentine's Day! {well, belated!}

I have a LOVE themed card to share with you today.

Shout out to Paru's February Challenge for the cool theme!

I love how we paper crafters make something beautiful and entirely handmade to gift someone special on their special day. This one goes out to my special friend {no names, you'll find out soon!}

Supplies: Paper-White Cardstock, Red Cardstock; Stamps - Love {We R Memory Keepers}, You {My Sentiments Exactly};

Embossing Powder - Zing; Embellishments - Hot Air Balloon Sticket {Itsy Bitsy}, White paper flower {local} and twine;

I cannot get over the CAS style still. But I did add frayed edges for some imperfection *yay*! The colour palette was inspired by Paper Players Challenge {PP380}.

And something interesting about this card?

I couldn't find the perfect font to write " Love You" so I used two different stamp sets for it *a big cheer for post-its*

And now I can't help but think that "love" looks like the "Coca Cola" font. Maybe it's in my head { and the colours match too!}
