Organized Craft Space!

Finally!!.. I have totally organized my stuff!... for now at least! ;)

Some highlights:

The box of these YUMMY chocolates..

..became my TREASURE SEQUIN BOX

Its has all the loveliest sequins!

This is the corner stand which was stuffed with stuff earlier..

I used a box to keep my glitter bottles as I needed another "floor" to keep things..

Beside Mr. Cartoon Pencil Sharpener are my stamp pads.. And the corner is taken up by a my marker holder I made some time ago..

I hanged my stencils, tags, 3D tube box and paper clips on two pretty hooks..

My alpha stencil and my cutting mat is safely kept in a magazine holder..
YAY!... now I think m gonna have to make some amazing creations!

This is one of the simplest cards I've ever created!... and I just love it!

Mojo Monday Challenge #95

I created this card for the Mojo Monday Challenge #95.

Awesome sketch but I didn't get enough time to create what I altually wanted to :(...
I know.. baad!... but anyways....

Here's the card!!.. the sentiment is handwritten.
It turned out pretty simple and sober!
Lavender cardstock, pink coloured paper, patterned wrapping paper, Purple ribbon, Cream plastic flower, lavender flower sequin.

Happy B'day!!

Actually I made this card for the Card Patterns challenge but didn't submit it...

I love their sketch #23!!

So here's my card. I also used the technique from Paper Crafts Connection for teh flower. The sentiment is handwritten.
Lavender cardstock, Handmade Patterned paper, Pink Ribbon, Fevicol "Glue n Gloss", poster paints, Pink coloured paper, Cream coloured paper, cream plastic flower, red flower sequin.

Puzzle Creations..

As you know, I'm getting my crafty stuff organized. And to do that, I have to follow the rule:
USE IT OR LOSE IT!
I actually had a box full of old puzzle pieces... so I thought, lets take up the challenge!
So this is what I came up with:

I made this long card using 4 puzzle pieces arranged together in order and stuck them using double-sided foam tape.

I just love this frame. I actually "renovated" an old plastic frame which I didn't use for a long time.
Materials Required:
1) Puzzle pieces
2) Old story book
3) Fevicol 'Glue n Gloss' or any glaze
Procedure:
1) Wipe the pieces clen with a damp paper towel and stick them on ages of an old storybook (I used "Famous Five"!) .
2) Flatten the pieces using a ruler (plastic one works great!) on the reverse side.
3) Apply the glaze and let it dry.
4)Stick the pieces in order or "unorder" and decorate!

Organize Craft Stuff #1

So I've started organizing my stash these days and I wanna complete it asap...

I really don't feel like showing you guys how it actually looks right now.. So I finally found exactly what I wanted to store my stamps. Nopes its not something fancy... it's just a business card holder!

Yay!... now at least it reduced 2 boxes out of my stuff!!

Art and Craft Store In Delhi #3

I went craft shopping some time earlier to this cool place in Defence Colony.

Actually it was an art store with all the art based "stuff"!

It had easels, canvases, paints, brushes, papers and almost all the artsy products one could imagine!

I found some interesting things too! I bought:

1) Small canvas- Rs.34
2) Charcoal pencils(set of 3)- Rs.30
3) Precision knife(with an extra blade)- Rs.84
4) White M-seal for crafts- Rs.15
5) Fabric Pen- Rs.30
I hope to create a li'l sumthings soon!

Portfolio!

My portfolio is ready!!
If you guys didn't know.. i was trying my hand at selling my cards and a friend of mine, Juhi told me to make a portfolio of the best of my cards.

So here it is!!
I decided to divide them into categories:-
SPECIAL CARDS
1) Acetate card
2) Pull-up Pop-up card
3) Folded card
4) Maze book
5) Wallet card
SIMPLE CARDS
Okay so all the cards one by one:

This is a card I made from a very easy folding technique which I might be teaching on my blog later. In case u didn't notice, this card style is the same as the one I made for my mom's b'day and entered it into a challege.
You have already seen this card in my earlier post. Actually this is a maze book made from just one sheet of paper. I just cudn't help putting it in!

I made this really simple, easy and elegant card within half an hour. Most of thetime i took was to think of the perfect layout. The card base is yummy chocolate-chip and i think pink and white compliment the colour very well! The flowers i made were from Kristina's video.

I just love this card! This is a pull-up pop-up card I learnt from Jennifer McGuire's video and have used it ina couple of challenges. I didn't have any idea of the central embellishment so I punched out holes in the circle and it worked great!!

This is the acetate card you've already seen. I just love the colour combination here. Red goes with lavender pretty well!

I made this sympathy card for a challenge and just wanted to throw it in!

I almost forgot this card!.. I made this wallet card with very subtle colour combination... I also have a video tutorial for this card.

B'day Special..

I had a b'day coming up on 29th June... 'twas my aunt's b'day and I made this acetate card for her.

Since she's an artist and an observer... she wanted to make her a new style of card.. and I can't help but I'm sooo obsessed with making acetate cards right now!
